Phil McNeely directs the Tank Programs Division, which protects public health and the environment in Arizona by preventing regulated substance releases from underground storage tanks and reducing the risk associated with contaminated sites. Mr. McNeely previously managed the Underground Storage Tank Corrective Action Section and the Superfund Programs Section from 1998 to 2004. Before joining ADEQ in 1998, he worked as an environmental consultant managing UST and hazardous waste sites through site investigation, remediation, and closure for clients in Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Science Degree in Geology, with emphasis in hydrogeology and geophysics. He is a Registered Geologist in Arizona.
